My Design Journey
My journey to becoming a User Interface and Graphic designer is unique. After graduating with an MBA, I took graphic design courses at a local college. Immediately, I fell in love with design. To my surprise, my career direction seemed to change overnight. Something happened.
In one of my classes, I was asked to help a local not-for-profit create a website and logo. It was tough at first. Understanding their mission, the target audience and building engaging designs was a challenge. Thankfully, the feedback I received helped me grow. The experience taught me an important lesson. Designers, like me, should inspire and have a positive impact on the world.
I take this mindset with me into every design project to help organizations thrive and to have a positive social impact.
